Who can connect calls?

• All users can connect calls in the app.

Types of coupling

Direct connection

• The call is connected immediately without you having to talk to the person first .

• Also called: cold-connection , blind-connection , unattended connection , or unannounced connection .

Announced connection

• You speak to the person you are connecting to before the call is released .

• Also called: hot-plugging or supervised plugging .

• Often seen as a more professional way to connect calls.

Directly transfer a call

When you are in a call:

1. Click the single arrow .

2. Click the single arrow again .

3. Select user, number or response group .

4. Click on the handset to connect the call.

Step-by-step

Note: If you are talking on your mobile, the call must first be moved to the mobile app by selecting “Move here” in the app.

1. Click the single arrow .

2. Click the double arrow .

3. Select user, number or response group .

4. Click on the handset to start the call to the person you want to connect to.
   • The ongoing call with the caller is put on hold.

5. When you have finished talking to the person:

6. Click the single arrow to complete the connection.

In the view, you can see whether the user is available, talking on the phone, or marked as busy.
