Calendar integration with Microsoft Teams and Google Workspace

Integrate Microsoft Teams and Google Workspace for automated activity status.

Step 1 – Open Activity Status

  • Click on the gear icon at the bottom of the menu on the left.
  • Select Personal settings .
  • Expand the Activity Status list.

Step 2 – Enable calendar integration

  1. Click the plus sign (+) to connect your Office 365 or Google Workspace account.
  1. Log in with your account details.

Step 3 – Sync activity status with calendar events

A calendar event in Office 365 or Google Workspace with a synced busy type automatically changes the corresponding activity status in the app for the duration of the event.

  1. Click the plus sign (+) to create a sync between the calendar and the app.
  1. Select the desired busy status in the calendar.
  1. Select the corresponding activity status in the app.
  1. Click Save – now your activity status is automatically controlled by your calendar.
  1. Click the cross (x) if you want to remove the sync.

Microsoft Teams integration

With the Microsoft Teams integration, your line status in the app syncs with your status in Teams.

  • Set busy line status when in MS Teams calls – enable if you want your status in the app to show Busy when you are in a Teams call.
  • Sync line status to MS Teams – enable if you want your Teams status to show Busy when you are on a call in the app.

Syncing works for:

  • Line status when you are on a call
  • Line status when you are in a meeting
  • Display of call-toast inside the app
