Share call log and call recordings

Guide to sharing call logs and recordings with colleagues via chat or SMS.

Step 1 – Who can use the feature?

  • Organizations with the Unlimited switch package.
  • Organizations with the Light switch package with the Analytics add-on service.

Note: When you share a call log, the recipient may in turn share it further. Only share recordings when it's important.


Step 2 – Share on computer

  1. Click the three-dot icon next to the conversation you want to share.
  1. Click the icon with the arrow pointing to the right .
  1. Choose whether to share via chat or SMS .
  1. Add a comment (optional).
  1. Type the name of the user, channel, or team you want to share with.
  1. Toggle on Include call recording if you want to send the recording.
  1. Toggle on Include voicemail transcription if you want to send the transcription.
  1. Toggle on to schedule broadcast time (optional) and select time.
  1. Click Share .

Step 3 – Share on mobile

  1. Tap the three-dot icon next to the conversation you want to share.
  1. Tap the right arrow icon .
  1. Choose whether to share via chat or SMS .
  1. Add a comment (optional).
  1. Type the name of the user, channel, or team you want to share with.
  1. Toggle on Include call recording if you want to send the recording.
  1. Toggle on Include voicemail transcription if you want to send the transcription.
  1. Toggle on to schedule broadcast time (optional) and select time.
  1. Tap Share .

Step 4 – Important to know

  • To share via SMS , you need permission to send System SMS .
