Step 1 – Open widget settings
- Click the gear icon at the bottom of the menu on the left to open the organization settings.
- Select Contact Center and then Web Widget .
- Click Create new widget .
Step 2 – Configure the widget
Note: You need to have purchased a credit pack to activate widgets and their features.
- Activate the widget if you want it to be visible directly on the website.
- Enter the domain and subdomain where the widget should be placed (e.g.
https://acme.inc/).
- Give the widget a name, for example Customer Care .
- Choose the color of the widget.
- Select the icon to display on the website.
- Set language.
- Connect the widget to an existing web chat (or do this later).
- Enter a phone number if you want to display the callback function (requires that the response group has this enabled).
- Add an email address to display in the widget.
- Add knowledge bases to appear in the widget as an FAQ
- Click Create to save and activate.
Step 3 – Add the widget to the website
- Open the widget you just created.
- Click Preview to see the appearance and make any adjustments.
- Under Add to website, copy the embed code.
- Paste the code into the location on your website where you want the widget icon to appear.

- The callback feature is an add-on that can be purchased separately.
