Create a Web Widget

  • Click on the gear icon and select your organization.
  • Expand the Contact Center list and click on Web Widget.
  • Then click on Create New Widget.

Before you can create a web widget, you need to purchase a credit package. These credits are used to activate features or licenses for the widget.

Create the Widget for the Website

  1. Enable the widget if you want it to appear on the website when added.
  2. Enter the domain and subdomain where the widget will be displayed, e.g. https://acme.inc/.
  3. Name the widget, e.g., Customer Care.
  4. Select a color for the widget.
  5. Choose an icon that will be visible on the website.
  6. Select the language the widget will use.
  7. Link the widget to a web chat. If no web chat is available at the moment, you can add it later.
  8. Enter a phone number to display on the widget. If the answer group has a callback feature, you can enable it, so customers can request a callback.
  9. Enter an email address to display on the widget.
  10. Click Create.

Callback is an add-on service that can be purchased under add-ons

Add the Widget to the Website

  1. Go to the widget you just created.
  2. Preview the widget by clicking Preview. Make any adjustments if needed.
  3. Under the Add to Website menu, copy the code and paste it onto the website where the widget should appear.
